Jean Marie Williquette Marcott, of Green Bay passed away very peacefully Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Unity Hospice Home. She was born May 16, 1938 the daughter of late Ambrose and Francis (Casper) Williquette.
In Jean’s younger years she loved doing dog shows with her two champion Golden Retrievers, and her Schnauzer, as well as running her kennel business, Rockledge Kennels. She had a big heart for her dogs.
Jean also was a very big supporter of the CP Center, raising a lot of money for them. She also took on a very big responsibility raising two of her grandchildren after the loss of her daughter Vickie. She always had an open door to help whoever in need.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Brenda Sievert Marcott, sons, Burton (Tammy) Vickery, Brian Marcott and Barbara wise a very special friend of the family; grandchildren, Karrah, Seth, Christopher, Chelsie, Jenna, Bo, Tabby and Karina; greatgrandchild, Brooklyn; brothers, Jerry (Mary) Williquette, Ronnie (Nora) Williquette, and Carl (Veronica) Williquette; sister, Mary (Williquette) (Tony) Kapla; sisters-in-law, Tina Steel Williquette, and Marylyn (Strehlow) Williquette; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Marcott; her brothers, Kenny and David Williquette.
Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A prayer service will be held at 7:00pm. Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Jean’s memory to CP Center of Green Bay.
