Agatha "Aggie" Debauche

February 5, 1926 — April 7, 2012

Agatha F. “Aggie” De Bauche, 86, Green Bay, went to sell Avon in heaven on Saturday morning, April 7, 2012. On February 5, 1926 she was born in New Franken to the late Frank and Clara (Garthoefner) Resch. She is a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. She married Clarence De Bauche on September 11, 1953 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1974. Aggie loved her three children with divine inspiration as she and her husband immediately said yes to fostering and later adopting Robin, Alan and Gary as an infant, 3 and 5 years of age. Aggie sold hats at The Hat Shop and Baums which inspired her love of hats. She worked for 15 years at James River Paper Co., formerly known as Northern Paper Mill. She passionately sold Avon for 36 years, her customers were also her friends. Without a drivers license she delivered her Avon orders by riding the city bus and also with dear friends Claire Rogers and Terrance (Terry) Mc Carrell. Aggie cherished having breakfast and then delivering Avon together with her son Gary every two weeks. She always enjoyed meeting new people and creating lifetime connections. She was an avid inspirational reader, puzzle solver and ace scrabble player. Aggie always believed life was like a puzzle, there is always a piece missing, but that’s life! “Amazing Aggie” is the co-founder of the “Mutual Admiration Society” in which she enjoyed giving endearing titles to her close friends. Aggie was a member of the Northern Paper Women’s Breakfast Club. She is a dedicated fan of football, especially the Packers and Brett Farve. She loved to pick berries without eating any. But the most important part of her life was the time spent with her family. Survivors include her children, Gary (Mary) De Bauche; Alan (Dawn) De Bauche, Robin De Bauche and special friend, Terrance, all of Green Bay; grandchildren, Brooke, Don, and Jordan; great-granddaughter, Rylnn. Clarence’s family, Alvin De Bauche; Jean (Pete) Gilson; Elizabeth (Betty) Matzke; many nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends, also Robin’s “kids’ Fritz, Angel and King. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Frank (Marion Linzmier); John (Martha Lhost); Joe (Dorothy Harris); William (Virginia Olsen); Anthony; and Edmund Resch; sisters, Ann, Helen (John L. Peot); Hattie “Pat” (Louis Reinholtz); Theresa (John Collins); sister-n-law, Laverne De Bauche. Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. The funeral service for Aggie will be at 6:00p.m. on Wednesday at Cotter Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Cirignani, O.F.M. officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. Thank you to her caregivers, Michelle Vine, Claire Rogers and Terry Mc Carrell for all of the wonderful care and friendship given to Aggie. “People are more important than things!”
