Alex Truax

Alex Truax, age 27 of Howard, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 10, 2018, from complications of leukemia. He was born October 27, 1990, the son of Charles and Jan Truax. He graduated from Bonduel High School, class of 2009, where he played football, was on the wrestling team and track. Alex love Lord of the Rings. On May 13, 2017 he married Kelsey Kraemer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kelsey; parents Charles and Judy of Bonduel; his siblings: CJ (Jillane), Daniel, Kristina (Shay), Melissa (Drew), Jessica and Nathan; Grandparents: Jim (Delores) and Lulabelle. He is further survived by Kelsey’s family: her mom Mary (Mike) Watson; her dad, Scott Kraemer; her siblings: Alyssa (Jake) and Ian, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and best friends: Chris, Leonel and Tim.

Preceding Alex in death are his mom, Jan, grandparents, Leo (Dorothy) and Leon.

Family and friends may call at Hope Community Church, 302 Tristan Dr. Shawano on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 10am until the time of the service at 12 noon with Rev. Todd Bonnin officiating. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting Alex’s family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Alex’s name.
