Amalia (King) Koepke

June 5, 1924 — January 15, 2018

Amalia Koepke, age 93, of DePere, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. She was born on June 5, 1924, in Spooner, Wisconsin to the late Morris and Ora (Thomas) King. On June 5, 1954, she married Waldo Koepke in Madison, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death in 1979. Amalia was an ESL teacher at NWTC for many years and worked in the library at De Pere High School. She was also a long-time member of the Green Bay Curling Club. She is survived by her children; Morris (Diane) Koepke and Bea (John) Gresback, grandchildren; Molly and Gabriel as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, two brothers, a sister and her husband. Family and friends may call at First United Presbyterian Church, 605 N. Webster Ave, De Pere on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Luke Farwell officiating.
