Amy Pittner, 98, Denmark, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011. She was born February 19, 1913 in Denmark, daughter to the late Louis G. and Thora (Andersen) Hanson. She graduated from Denmark High School in 1931, and married Ohrend R. Pittner on September 30, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1976. Together they farmed on the family farm all their lives. Amy was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Denmark. She will be deeply missed by her three children: Janice Pittner, Milwaukee; Arnold Pittner, Denmark; and Bernadine Queener, Milwaukee; five grandchildren: Jacqueline Queener, Clarksburg, Maryland; Pamela Queener, Grafton, WI; Amy (Dale) Kielpikowski, Denmark; Marianne (Mark) Krueger, Denmark; and Megan (Todd) Allen, Monroe, WI; five great-grandchildren: Marian and Matthew Kielpikowski, and Anne, Benjamin and Chad Krueger; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Amy was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Edie; sister, Alice (Harvey) Bristol; and a brother, Clarence (Dina) Hanson. Friends may call Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Denmark. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at church, with the Rev.
