Ann M. (Zacharias) Ehnerd

Ann Ehnerd, age 82, of Wrightstown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 1, 2016. She was born May 30, 1934 in Kaukauna to the late Vincent and Helen (Schaefer) Zacharias. She was married to Ed Ehnerd in May of 1977. Ann worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton until her retirement. Her involvement with her parish meant everything to her. She attended mass daily and served on the liturgy committee as well as assisting with funeral dinners and singing in the choir. She was an active member of Widows of Prayer at St. Pius in Appleton and volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul in Kaukauna. Her favorite pastime was playing bingo, which she did at locations across the Fox Valley. She is survived by one brother Richard (Joyce) Zacharias and one sister Helen Lenz; a brother-in-law Tom (Mary) Stilp and sister-in-law Carla Zacharias, as well as sisters-in-law: Virginia, Anne and Mary Ehnerd. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed, her parents, one brother James, and one sister Phyllis Stilp. She was also preceded by her parents-in-law Martha and Harold; brothers-in-law Glen, Lloyd, Pete and Bob, and a sister-in-law Patricia VerHagen. Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Catholic Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, on Wednesday, September 7, from 5-7pm, with a parish prayer service to conclude the evening. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 10:30am until 11:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon with Fr. Brian Wideman officiating. Burial in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Wrightstown. Cotter Funeral Home of Wrightstown is assisting the family.
