Carl T. “Jeff” Hendricks, 92, Green Bay, passed away Thursday morning, May 3, 2012. He was born September 20, 1919 in De Pere to the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Gerrits) Hendricks. He graduated from St. Mary Catholic Grade School and in 1938 from East De Pere High School. He was a very good basketball player in high school and during his time in the service. Jeff served his country during World War II from 1940-1945 in the U.S. Army. He served in the 32nd Red Arrow Division, Battery B, and saw action in New Guinea, Pacific Theatre. On July 30, 1949 he married Angeline L. Fels in De Pere. For many years he worked at Broadway Chevrolet in De Pere and Ashwaubenon as the Service and Body Shop Manager. Jeff began the local Property Damage Appraisers franchise, retiring in 1982 but continued to still work for PDA part time for many more years. Jeff was an avid bowler for more than 75 years, and also enjoyed golf and horseshoes. His most treasured time was spent with his family. His most recent memorable trip was one he took with his two brothers last August (2011) on the WWII Honor Flight to Washington, DC. Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Angie, who now resides at Woodside Community in Ashwaubenon; three sons, Randall J. (Rebecca); Daniel E. (Dianne); Paul H. (Lorrie); grandchildren, Allicia (Craig) Woodhouse, Rose (Ty Mack) Hendricks, Aaron (Amy) Hendricks; Jaye (Brian) Glowacki, Carla (Kris) Shaw; great-grandchildren, Devan, Stella, Mason, Elsa and Cason. Brothers and sisters, Mark, Rita (Lawrence) Van Straten; Leo (Cathy); Francis (Carol), Betty Drewiske; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by sister, Florence; sister-in-law, Ruth Hendricks and brothers-in-law, W.P. Cullen, Roger Drewiske. Family and friends may call on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum Chapel, 2770 Bay Settlement Road, from 12:30p.m. until 2:00p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:00p.m. on Sunday with Rev.
