"Kay" Carol Rae Felsheim

Carol “Kay” was born March 29, 1930, in Racine, WI to Earl B. and Beatrice Snyder (Rost) and passed away to eternal life on September 1, 2024. She graduated from Marinette High School in 1948 and Alton Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. Kay went on to obtain her degree as a CRNA at St. John’s Hospital School of Anesthesia in 1953. Kay worked as a nurse anesthetist at St. Vincent and Bellin Hospitals in Green Bay, WI for 35 years. She married Don Felsheim on September 17, 1955. 

She was preceded in death by her spouse Don Felsheim and is survived by children Gregory Felsheim MD (Rebecca) and Janet R. Frey (John). Kay is also survived by 5 loving grandchildren: Jennifer Frey, Christopher Frey, Ethan Jablonowski (Rebekah), Corbin Felsheim (Diana) and Kaitlyn Felsheim. 

Kay was a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She was also a leader in scouting, serving as a Den Mother and Girl Scout Leader.

Kay and Don were members of the Active Older Adults at the YMCA Broadview Branch for many years. The family requests donations to this organization in lieu of flowers.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr, Allouez, at 11:00 am with Rev. Bob Kabat officiating. Visitation at 10:00 am – 10:45 am in the church chapel. Luncheon to follow at church.
