Carol A. (Marcott) Olejniczak, 70, Greenleaf, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. She was born on June 9, 1942 in De Pere to the late Adrian and Mildred (Gevers) Marcott. Carol was a graduate of De Pere High School, Class of 1961. On August 4, 1994 Carol married Michael Olejniczak. She worked for many years at Paul’s Rathskeller, For All Seasons, and Seroogy’s Candies. She enjoyed working in her beautiful flower gardens, reading books and doing puzzles as well as spending time with family and friends. Carol is survived by her husband, Mike; two daughters and their husbands, Pam (Paul) Mathu, De Pere and Jenny (Randy)Hanewall-Marnocha, Waunakee; one stepson, Steve (Megan) Olejniczak, California; five grandchildren, Rachel and Joe Mathu; Adam and Kennedy Hanewall; and Drew Marnocha; brothers, Robert (Lois) Marcott, Green Bay and Rick (Karen) Marcott, De Pere; Special niece and nephew, Erin and Cory Marcott; Mike’s brothers and sisters Margaret Janssen, Peter Olejniczak, Claire (Marvin) Stroobants, Paul Olejniczak, Dolores (Dennis) Zwiers, Joseph (Margie) Olejniczak and Mark Olejniczak. Additionally, Carol is survived by many nieces and nephews and the Smits family. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Marcott; son-in-law Mark Hanewall; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Leona Olejniczak; sister-in-law, Naomi Olejniczak; and brother-in-law, Preston Janssen. Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere, from 3pm until the time of service on Monday, November 26, 2012. Service will be held at 6pm, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Willard Van De Loo officiating.
