Christine Lynn Vogel entered eternal life peacefully Saturday, April 7, 2018 comforted by her family. The daughter of the late Cornelius and Alice (George) Vogel, Chris was born May 4, 1956 in Green Bay and was able to enjoy her life in the De Pere family home she grew up in.
Chris lived her life as though every day was a celebration. She would always be planning for the next “event”, be it a holiday, birthday, or special occasion. Chris loved Halloween and was exceptionally proud of her Halloween yard display which became a year around project for her and her sons. Many knew Chris as “Sparkles” as she loved lights, color and glitz. Shopping on QVC, Kroll’s sea burgers, Seroogy candy, and artistic projects always made her smile. A graduate of East De Pere High School, Chris was in customer service at APAC and the Oneida Casino. Above all, family was the center of Chris’ life and she was extremely proud of her sons. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors Chris are her sons Chase and Casey Mackin both of De Pere; sisters, Betty (Robert) Gerbers, De Pere; Tobi (Richard) Greene, Sheboygan; brother, Robert Vogel, Windsor, CA; her nephews and their families; the father of her children, Patrick Mackin, Lakewood, WI; and a close group of long time girlfriends.
