David "Dave" Gaestel

David (Dave) A. Gaestel, 57, of Allouez, left our world, passed through the gates of Heaven, and entered the arms of God on October 22, 2024 Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. He was born June 22, 1967, in Green Bay, WI to Arnold and Lorraine Gaestel.  

Survivors include his three siblings: Hope (Paul Piper) Gaestel-Piper of Hilton Head Island, SC; Kim (Bruce) Jaeger of DePere; Mike (Michele) Gaestel of Allouez; eight nieces and nephews: April (Brian) Koepp of Green Bay; Aaron (Nicole) Selner of Bellevue; Stefanie (David) Clark of Bentonville, AR; Alex (Ariel) Piper of Suamico; Cassandra (Josh) Romuald of Luxemburg; Alecia (Matt) Daul of Luxemburg; Zach Gaestel (and friend Julie) of Green Bay; and Lindsey (Hunter) Harmon of DePere; great-nieces and great-nephews: Emily and Greggory Koepp; Carter and Blake Selner; Ryan, Matthew, and Natalie Clark; Dylan and Logan Roberts; and Marvin Daul.  

Dave was preceded in death by his parents: Arnold and Lorraine Gaestel, sister-in-law: Debbie Gaestel, nephew: Nicolas Piper, and niece: Nicole Piper. 

The family would like to extend special thank you to Dave’s neighbors, especially Mary Wilquet. Private services were held with entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family.
