Diane P. Nackers

Diane P. Nackers, age 68, joined her husband Peter in heaven on Monday, August 19, 2024, at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence. She was born on December 13, 1955, to Alvin and Anna (Vanness) Kugel. On October 1, 1994, she married the love of her life at Old St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. 

Diane worked at several businesses in the Green Bay area as an office employee, where she created many lifelong friendships with her fellow co-workers. In her free time, she enjoyed making cookies, traveling, doing puzzles, attending performances at the Weidner Center, and cheering on her favorite sports teams, including the Packers, Brewers, and St. Norbert and UWGB basketball.

She is survived by her siblings; Jim Kugel, Janice Stodola, Mike Kugel and Robert Kugel, brothers in law; Paul Nackers Sr. and Jim (Jenny) Nackers, nieces and nephews; Stacy (Kevin) Lampe, Robyn Hallet, Kyle Stodola, Tina (Gary) Hyska and Drew (Carrianne) Nackers as well as great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Peter, her parents, Alvin and Anna (Vanness) Kugel, father and mother in law, Adolph and Fern Nackers, sister, Mary Ann Kugel, brother in law, Wayne Stodola, sister in law, Bonnie Kugel, nephew, Brian Kugel and niece, Angela Stodola.

Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 9 – 10:45 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr., De Pere. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am with Rev. Mike Ingold officiating. Diane will be laid to rest in St. Therese Parish Cemetery in Pilsen. 

Diane’s family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Bellin Hospital, the staff of Jack & Engrid Meng Hospice Residence, and Fr. Mike Ingold for their support and care of Diane.
