Doris Bunker-Pfeiffer

Doris Mae “Dorie” Bunker-Pfeiffer, age 91, Allouez, passed away on December 23, 2021. On August 20, 1930, Dorie was born to the late Alex and Rose (Konop) Bunker. 

Dorie married Clifford Pfeiffer on August 30, 1985 in Milwaukee.  He preceded her in death on February 7, 2006.  She worked many years as a machine operator at Globe Union, Milwaukee.  She enjoyed playing cards, reading, golfing, bowling and bicycle riding.  Dorie was a dog lover and over the years had many companions at her side. She enjoyed time spent with her friends from the YMCA and the Resurrection Hilltoppers.

Survivors include her sisters, Lorraine Carpiaux, Sharon (Tom) Thelen; brother Francis Bunker; brother-in-law Donald Kuester; many nieces, nephews, and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Harold, Irvin, and Raymond Bunker; sisters Norma Kuester, Shirley (Bernard) Mysliewec; brother-in-law Merrill Carpiaux; sister-in-law Eileen Bunker.

Family and friends may visit at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr., Allouez on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family with arrangements.
