Doris Mae Pansier

February 15, 1929 — April 12, 2021

The lovable and feisty Doris Mae Pansier passed away April 12, 2021 at the age of 92 at Alpha Senior Concepts in Howard. She was born February 15, 1929 in De Pere to Lester and Estella (Mushinski) Carter. She met Herbert Frank Pansier as a teenager and married him on June 17, 1950, and went on to be a good mother to her two daughters, Linda and Barbara. In earlier years, Doris worked at the telephone company, Milprint, and The Ivanhoe Supper Club. She also spent many years taking care of Herbie, her girls, and her home, along with caring for her aging parents.
Doris leaves behind her daughters, Linda (Ken) LeCloux (Pulaski), Barbara (Rick) Vaughan (Dimondale, MI); her grandchildren, Jason (Paula VandenEng) LeCloux (Green Bay), Nathan (David) Belanger-LeCloux (Baton Rouge, LA), Missie (Rob) Gagnon (Green Bay), Mandy (Brenda McGuire) Bressers (Grand Ledge, MI); her great-grandchildren, Dylan (Mandi) LeCloux, Brandon LeCloux, Brandon Miles, Kylie LeCloux, Marshall LeCloux; and her great-great-granddaughter, Kora LeCloux. She is further survived by her brother, Larry (Edna) Carter; her brother-in-law, Leland (Clara) Pansier, and her sister-in-law, Delores Kane; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbie; her parents, Lester and Estella Carter, sisters, Elaine (Merlin) Gossen, Joanne Hennessey; brothers, Merle Carter, Harold (Rita) Carter;  and Herbie’s family: parents, Leo and Grace Pansier; brothers, Ervin (Marlene) Pansier, Louie (Theresa) Pansier, Hugo (Eunice) Pansier; sister, Betty (Jerry) Treml; brother-in-law, Gordon Kane; friend, Bob Bressers, and her fur babies, Scotty and Snowball.
The family wants to thank the staff at Alpha Senior Concepts in Howard for the care they gave Mom, as well as the people at Heartland Hospice and Lakeland Care. You made her happy and her life more enjoyable. And many thanks to Cotter Funeral Home staff for their helpful and caring manner at this difficult time, as well as Rev. Matthew Faucett and St. Francis Xavier Parish.
