Ernest C. Seymour, 85, Allouez, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 19, 1927 in Wittenberg to the late Alvan C. and Betty W. (Christensen) Seymour. Ernest proudly served his country during World War II and the Korean Conflict where he was a hospital corp. leader and sang in the Great Lakes Naval Choir. His career was dedicated to making delicious ice cream for local dairies. Ernie enjoyed spending time fishing with family at the cottage on Young’s Lake. He was an inspiration as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Ernest is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores (Nell); their children, Amy (Don “Gunnar”) Letourneau; David (Diane) Seymour; grandchildren, Ashley and Evan Letourneau; his sister, Betty (Alfred) Wasleske; other relatives and friends. Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from Noon to 2:00p.m. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. David Hatch officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
