Grace M Herold, 92, Denmark, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014. She was born October 8, 1921 in Maribel, daughter to the late Joseph and Catherine (Reedy) Kapinos. Grace graduated from Denmark High School in 1940 and married Robert Herold on October 16, 1948. He preceded her in death on July 28, 1991. Grace spent her life as a farmer’s wife and homemaker, caring not only for her family but also her mother, brother, brother-in-law and nieces and nephews. Grace enjoyed gardening, canning, knitting, crocheting, and baking. She made the best kolaches and shared many mittens, dish clothes and aphgans with her relatives and friends. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Paul Dufeck, Green Bay; three grandchildren: Joseph (Lynnett) Dufeck, Green Bay, and their children Lucetta Grace and Annabelle Rose; Andrew (Irma) Dufeck, Denmark, and their children, Anthony and James; and Susan (Todd) Seidl, Green Bay, and their children, Sophia and John; one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Keehan, Denmark, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann in 1968. Family and friends may call Monday, March 17, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of Mass at 6:00 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark, with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery-Stark at a later date. Cotter Funeral Home, Denmark, is assisting the family.
