Jacki Acosta

Jaclyn Rose Marie Acosta, 31, passed away in her sleep Sunday morning, October 27, 2024. Jacki was born at Bellin Memorial Hospital in Green Bay on September 29, 1993, to Timothy and Brenda (Godwin) Gilbert. She attended Green Bay West and graduated from Green Bay Southwest High in 2012. She played the viola in the school orchestra, where she met Julius Acosta. A few years later, they married on March 8, 2013, in Green Bay. Jacki worked at Costco for over 1 0 years, before embarking on a career change. A few weeks ago, Jacki became an Associate Banker at Chase Bank. She was very excited about "getting her till,” which was the next step in her banking career. But Jacki was the most passionate about her family. She loved spending time with Julius and the kids. Her effect on people was so positive, and her smile was contagious. Everyone loved her.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Julius; their daughters, Victoria, Sofia, Ariana, Yesenia, and Alejandra; brothers, Michael (Jami) Gilbert; Thomas (Jessica) Gilbert; sisters-in-law, Emmeline (David) Guzman; Cassie (Javier) Bustos; Alyssa Acosta; Mikayla Acosta; her parents, Tim and Brenda Gilbert; parents-in-law, Miguel and Victoria Acosta; grandparents, Marty and Phyllis Pokela; grandmother­-in-law, Francisca Navarro; special cousins, Christy and Chad Gilbert. Further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins too numerous to mention.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Jaclyn Gilbert.

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Monday, November 4, from 10:30am until the time of service at noon.
