James W. Cotter, Jr., age 64, of Green Bay, earned eternal life on Friday, April 17, 2015. He was born on June 21, 1950 to James W. Sr. and Elaine (Pfotenhauer) Cotter. After graduating from Abbot Pennings High School in De Pere, James worked for Design Air (now U.S. Ventures) for over 40 years. In addition to being an avid golfer and bowler, he loved spending time with his granddaughter Lauren, who was his pride and joy, as well as his golf partner. Surviving James is his loving wife Suzanne, children: Melissa (Rick) Piumbroeck and Daniel, his mother Elaine, brothers and sisters: Dan (Karen), Mary Jo, Jean (Dennis) and Mike (JoAnn), as well as nephews and nieces: Michael, Nick, Matt, Katie, Eric and Alayna. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Cotter, Sr. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere, on Friday, April 24, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. On Saturday, a funeral mass will be held for James at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan Street, De Pere, beginning at 10:30am with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Allouez Rescue Squad and St. Vincent Hospital for their compassionate efforts. Farewell on Your Fairway to Heaven!
