Janet Marie Tilkens-Van Derven

Janet Tilkens-Van Derven, age 73, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021. The daughter of Edwin and Dorothy (Closuit) Tilkens was born May 25, 1947 in Green Bay. She graduated from UWGB and then UW-Madison with a master’s degree in social work. On September 14, 1968 she married Thomas Van Derven at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Janet enjoyed gardening and reading in her spare time.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas of Green Bay; son: Charlie (Karmen) Van Derven of Daytona Beach, FL and their children Madelyn and Edan; son: Joe (Jessica) Van Derven of Plymouth, WI and their children Rachel and Nicholas; and a sister: Teri Tilkens-Tucker of San Diego, CA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Tilkens and daughter, Stacy Van Derven.
