Laurie has been called home to life everlasting with our Lord peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, February 12, 2025. Born August 18,1947 to Norbert and Patricia Edinger (McNellis) and raised on the family dairy farm. Laurie was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Shirley, WI.
She graduated from East De Pere High School in 1965, then worked for the Pauly Cheese Company until its closure.
Laurie enjoyed many types of arts and crafts, reading, staying current with her favorite TV shows, crosswords and word search puzzles, and almost never missed a televised Packer game.
Laurie possessed an awesome ability for recalling names and dates and liked to reminisce with family, friends, and pen-pals, as well as keeping up with current events.
Laurie is survived by her brother, Paul Edinger (Judy Muniz), nieces Vicki (Jason) Haworth, Dail Edinger (Troy Spiering), Angela Edinger (Sean Tauscher) and nephew, Anthony Edinger (Kristen Butcher) as well as her great-niece Sydney Haworth.
Visitation at Cotter Funeral Home, De Pere, February 20th from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm, with a funeral service at 1:30 pm, Pastor Matthew Baye of Hope Lutheran Church officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd at Nicolet Memorial Gardens to follow.
