Linda Jean (Vande Walle) Schoen

Linda Jean (Vande Walle) Schoen, 64, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. The daughter of Joseph and Babe (LaFond) Vande Walle was born on February 3, 1951 in De Pere. On May 31, 1975 she married Dennis Schoen at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. For 21 years she worked at Bay West Paper and later at Tufco Technologies for 12 years as Human Resource Director. She has been a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking her dogs, Stormy and Murphy, for walks. She looked forward to family camping trips. Linda was a great cook and baker, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Surviving is her husband, Dennis; 2 sons Ryan (Danielle) and their children Matthew and Mason; Derek (Sarah) and their children Sidney and Gavin; brothers and sisters: Bob (Lynn) Vande Walle, Ron (Carole) Vande Walle, Sarah Frisbie, Tom (Sue) Vande Walle, Mary (DJ) Hill, Gail (Larry) Wendt, Dale (Kathy) Vande Walle and Diane (John) Bressers. Further surviving is Dennis’ family: Dick (Jane) Schoen, Don (Pam) Schoen, Darrell (Karen) Schoen; her best and dearest friend, Mary Jane Thomas; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Julie; brother-in-law, Dave Frisbie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Merlin and Antoinette Schoen. Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr., Ledgeview on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 9:30am to 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Linda at 11am Saturday with the Rev. Judah Pigon, MF officiating. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
