Margaret Ann Keup

Margaret Ann Keup, 91, Denmark, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Harmony of Denmark. She was born August 24, 1921 in Kewaunee, WI, daughter to the late Albert and Elsie (Hastreiter) Zipperer. Margaret graduated from Kewaunee High School. She married Orville Otto Keup on August 17, 1940 in Kewaunee, and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2001. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. Survivors include her seven children: Albert (Betty) Keup, Madison; Eugene (Joan) Keup, Howard; Daniel (Sue) Keup, Cooperstown; Russell Keup, Suamico; Douglas Keup, Appleton; Kathy (Ross) Johnson, Cooperstown; and Andrew (Lori) Keup, Rice, VA; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Denese Keup, Abrams; and a sister and brother-law-in, Dolores (Melvin) Shimon, Whitelaw. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Lowell in 1992, and Norbert in 2010; husband, Orville; daughter-in-law, Kristine Keup; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Eleanor and Dale Schmoock, and Elmer and Lorraine Kinstetter; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lester and Hazel Keup, and Arthur and Lolita Decramer. Family and friends may call Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown, with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating.
