Margaret M. Bergelin, 75, Denmark, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Bornemann Nursing Home. She was born June 26, 1935, daughter to the late Walter and Gertrude (Peot) Goessl. She married her loving husband of 40 years, Milton A. Bergelin on June 14, 1969 at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown, and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2010. Survivors include her son, James (Alice) Bergelin; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Brock, Alec, and Ethan Bergelin; brothers and sisters: Eugene (Terry) Goessl, Walter (Lorraine) Goessl, Jerry Goessl; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Emanuel Bergelin, Henry Pautz, Dorothy Schmoock; special family friend, Donny Cigler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers and sisters: Sylvester Goessl, Clarence Goessl, and Rose Oswald, as well as two infant siblings; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Edward Bergelin, Gerald (Arlene) Bergelin, Erana (Clarence) Mier, and Rala Pautz. Family and friends may call Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at All Saints Catholic Church, Denmark. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday at church, with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating. Interment will be in East Danish Cemetery.
