Marguerite J. “Peg” Kitslaar, age 91, of Appleton and formerly of Green Bay, passed away peacefully after a short illness. She was born on August 10, 1925, to the late Louis and Gertrude (Schnetzer) Haanen. After graduating from UW-Madison, she worked as a medical technician at Bellin hospital. She married Jack Kitslaar on January 21, 1950 at St. Willebrord Catholic Church in Green Bay. Peg and Jack worked together in their family business, Kitslaar Interiors, where she was a bookkeeper. They enjoyed a large social group in Green Bay and Crivitz, where they had a cabin affectionately known as the “Red House,” and nourished many friendships over the years. Peg loved to play cards and games, and especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her GiGi. She had a big heart and could make friends wherever she went. Her faith was very important to her, and she was always an active member of her parish. Survivors include her children: John L.
