Mary Ellen Krueger

March 7, 1957 — May 14, 2021

Mary Ellen Krueger, age 64, of Bellevue, died May 14, 2021 after a brief, but brave battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born March 7, 1957, in Green Bay to Frank and Lorraine Sekora. She graduated Denmark High School in 1975.  She married Wayne Krueger at All Saints Catholic Church on October 18, 1996. He was the love of her life and together they built a happy family.
Most of her career was spent as a manager at Quality Logistic Services, and as business administrator at All Saints Parish. Mary was active with Ruby’s Pantry and Denmark Community Cupboard among other organizations that helped better the community at large. Her hobbies included: bowling, playing cards with friends, crochet, making tie blankets for others, shopping, crafts, spending time with Wayne and watching fast pitch softball at Circle Tap. Mary was also the family historian, having taken over from the books her mom started.
Among her greatest joys in life was her weekly (or more) visits with her granddaughter Emily doing crafts, baking, shopping at the dollar store, getting into trouble and loving each other unconditionally.
Mary was most happy harassing her brothers; making chicken wings for their hunting trips, travel and adventures with her cousins, caring and supporting her family and friends and chatting with everyone she met. She was a second mother to her nieces and nephews and brought sunshine, warmth and love to everyone she met. She could organize and fix any problem and knew people everywhere she went.
In later years she enjoyed spending time with her special friend Roy: going up north, fishing on the pontoon and riding in his red convertible.
Mary will be missed and is survived by: her special friend Roy Paider; step-daughter Amy and Jay Rott; Granddaughter Emily Rott; Brothers: Robert (Bob) and Mary Lou Sekora, Tom and Karen Sekora and Jim and Carole Sekora; nieces and nephews: Tina (Matt) Wojta, Tracy (Adam) Galleberger, her godson Nathan (Megan) Sekora, Jerry (Tonja) Wicker, Julie (Bryan) Lemmens, Chris (fiancé Jamie) Sekora, her goddaughter Jenny (Jeff) Detrie, Stacy (Adam) Pouwels, Alex (Megan) Sekora, Tyler Sekora and Alyssa Sekora; Roy’s children: Nicole (Travis) Kolsar and Wes Paider; great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, friends and other family.
Preceded in death by husband Wayne, her parents, and granddaughter Samantha Rott.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home in Denmark, 536 Cty Road R, Denmark, on Wednesday, May 19, from 4-7:30pm. A parish prayer service will conclude the evening. Visitation will continue on Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark from 9:30am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Bill O'Brien officiating and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Masks are required in church so please remember to bring your own.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established at a later date.
Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at St. Vincent Hospital on the 9th floor and ICU.
