Mary R. (Manderfield) Legault, age 76, of De Pere, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice in De Pere, WI. She was born on November 8, 1948, in Marshfield, WI, daughter of the late CP “Dutch” and Helen (Dunham) Manderfield.
Mary graduated from Marinette Catholic High School and attended Sacred Heart School of Practical Nursing, later graduating from Eastern New Mexico University with an associate’s degree in nursing. She proudly served as a Registered Nurse for over 45 years. She enjoyed reading and watching good movies, but had a special love for her family, particularly her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by 5 children: Edward Legault, Brian Legault, Andrew Legault, Renee Legault and Michelle (Jimmy) Willing; two grandchildren: Clarissa Willing and Jacob Willing; sister: Margaret (Mike) Strenski and brother-in-law Bill Parthie; as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Susan Meicht and Terry Parthie.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, March 18, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez from 9:30am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am with Fr. Tom Reynebeau presiding. Burial will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed at gbres.org/live
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mary’s family for a cause to be determined.
