Maxwell James Schall age 17, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. He was born in Green Bay, WI on July 17th, 2007. He is the loving son of Jake Schall and Amy (Merkatoris) Schall. He attended Webster, Edison, and Preble schools. Maxwell brought joy and light to everyone he encountered. 

 Maxwell lived life with an immense love for everyone. He was loving, kind, and always ready to have fun! His infectious giggle and radiant smile had a unique way of brightening your day, making him a cherished presence blessing the lives of all who knew him. Maxwell loved car rides, busses, “Little Caesars” pizza and shared a special bond with his grandmothers, Mary Merkatoris and Mary Schall, whom he joined in heaven. He especially loved his brother James who provided him with kindness, patience, and humor. Though Maxwell's time with us was far too short, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and unconditional love that will continue to inspire all of us.

 Maxwell was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Mary (Reinhart) Schall, and John and Mary Merkatoris. 

 Maxwell is survived by his father Jake Schall (Melissa), mother Amy (Merkatoris) Schall, and brother James Schall. Maxwell is further survived by his aunts and uncles: Elsa Reinhart, Mark Reinhart (Mary), Tom Reinhart, Michael (Ingrid) Merkatoris, Mary (Gerard) Fahy, Mark (Lisa) Merkatoris, Megan (Brian) Segrin, James (Maureen) Merkatoris, Joseph (Lisa) Merkatoris, John (Nicole) Merkatoris, Marianna Merkatoris, and Katie (Jef) Meyer. 

 A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Maxwell Schall Memorial Fund. A private, family funeral will be held at a later date.
