Nancy Jean Escamilla passed away on December 26th, 2016 at 10:00am at her home in De Pere. She is survived by her son Robert Schultze, her siblings Frank (Carole) Escamilla, Ed (Marci) Escamilla, Suellen Escamilla (Kim Vanatta), and Yvonne Clauson, as well as a large family of cousins, nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Schultze, daughter, Beth Schultze, and parents, Frank and Gladys (Clark) Escamilla. Nancy was born on January 1st, 1951 in Neenah and pursued a career in education, teaching for 20 years in various school districts. Nancy and her husband, Jim Schultze, owned and operated Green Bay Rebuilders. They, along with their children, pursued various hobbies ranging from raising animals to making maple syrup. Nancy was a gifted herbalist. Nancy battled her cancer with courage and tenacity for six long years, during which time she was able to travel to California and drive the scenic coast, multiple times. Throughout this time she worked as a bookkeeper at Lindeman’s dry-cleaning, and over the course of a decade, found a second family amongst the staff. Everyone who met Nancy treasured her. She was a loving wife and mother, devoted to raising educated, well rounded children. Nancy was a wonderful sister and aunt who always put family first and held everyone together. She was well respected by her family and friends for her caring nature, unselfishness, and compassion. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere, on Friday, December 30 from 3:00pm until the time of service at 6:00pm. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
