Patricia "Pat" Kehoe

July 6, 1944 — April 12, 2014

Patricia “Pat” Kehoe, 69, beloved wife of James M. Kehoe, died unexpectedly of an undetected heart condition, Friday, April 11, 2014. Pat was born July 6, 1944 to Francis and Beatrice (Suchocki) Kust in Kewaunee, WI. She graduated from Denmark High School in 1963 and then attended business college in Manitowoc. On October 20, 1965, Pat married James Kehoe at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kellnersville. She was a wonderful partner for Jim, keeping the Kehoe Homestead a warm and beautiful place, and a successful business enterprise as well. She was a loving mother to James Francis Kehoe, Las Vegas, NV, and Michael John Kehoe, Green Bay, WI. Pat was an unassuming and humble woman with a strong faith in God. She had a sweet disposition, a ready smile and an infectious laugh. She was interested in, not only the lives of her children, but of her nieces, nephews and extended relatives and friends too. Everyone admired her serenity and kindness. Pat kept a beautiful yard and home. She was the gracious hostess of an annual New Year’s Eve brunch at the family home. Her hobbies included stitchery and needlework. In recent years Pat and Jim enjoyed traveling together, going to many places including New Zealand, Ireland, New York City, the Grand Canyon, New England, Las Vegas, Branson, South Dakota, Hawaii, and most recently a bus tour of the South. Along with her husband and two sons, Pat is survived by her sisters, Judy (Marvin) Erdman, Whitelaw, WI, and Bonnie Kust, Las Vegas; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Kehoe and Lucille (Kehoe) Warpinski, both of Green Bay. On the Kust side of the family she is further survived by her nieces, Kelly Bradley (Ted) Douglas, Kristy Bradley (Raymond) Montes, and Jelaine (Tim) Scannell; and nephew, Dean (Heidi) Erdman. On the Kehoe side of the family she will be sadly missed by her seven Warpinski nieces and nephews who adored her: Terri, Bob and Nancy, Betsy Martin, Patrick and Collette, Ted and Kelly, Brian and Kelly, and Rick and Heidi. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Carol Kust and Nancy Kust Bradley; brothers-in-law, Raymond Bradley and Robert Warpinski, Sr.; a niece, Caitlin Scannell; and nephew, Garry Fritz (Terri Warpinski). Family and friends may call at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 5930 Humboldt Road, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at church on Wednesday, April 16 from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., with Father Andrew Kurz officiating. Interment will be in the Irish Eaton Cemetery. Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. Pat’s generosity and concern for others will extend beyond her life on this earth. She was a tissue and organ donor which will improve the life of others long after “my Patsy” is gone. “A mother holds her children’s hands for a little while, but their hearts for a lifetime.”
