Patricia (Patty) Geocaris

Patricia (Patty) Lynn Geocaris, 79 of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 3rd 2021, at her home in Allouez with her family by her side.  Patricia was born to the late Edward and Margaret Shervey in Chicago Illinois.  She met her late husband, Dr. Thomas Geocaris, in high school, and they married shortly after college.  Tom and Patty moved to Green Bay in 1976, and Patty worked by Tom’s side managing his surgery practice for over 30 years while raising their four children, Cynthia, Michael, Timothy, and Kerry.  Patty’s joy in life was her family, and Patty and Tom made sure to include their children on every adventure they took from skiing in Colorado, Scuba diving in the Bahamas, spending time in Door County, or sailing across Lake Michigan in their sailboat, the Ci-Mi-Ti-Ke II.  When Patty did find time for herself, you would most likely find her playing bridge with her neighborhood friends, working on her flowerbeds in her backyard or at her cottage, or tackling projects with her late sister Jaci Arne. Patty also loved entertaining any of her 10 grandkids who always seemed to be over at her house swimming in her pool, as her house was the place to be. Patty always made sure everyone around her was having a good time and making memories that will last forever. 
Patricia is survived by her children, Cynthia Geocaris (Stephen Scripp), Michael Geocaris (Pamela Weiner), Timothy Geocaris (Nicole Voelker), Kerry Geocaris (Bradford Bordini); 10 grandchildren including Ryan Scripp, Stephen Scripp, Michael Scripp, Madeline Scripp, Timothy Geocaris, Thomas Geocaris, Elliot Bordini, Teya Bordini, Victor Geocaris, and Lila Geocaris.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Margaret Shervey, her sister Jaci Arne, and brother William Shervey.
Family and friends may visit at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, on Monday, July 12, from 3:00-5:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:00pm with Fr. Tom Reynebeau officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
