Peter J. Brunette

Peter J. Brunette, age 81, of Allouez, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. The son of the late Kenneth and Elaine (Tyson) Brunette was born August 4, 1943. He attended Premontre High School and later St. Norbert College. On July 16, 1966, he married Roberta “Bobbie” Redfield at St. Stephens Parish in Stevens Point. Peter spent six years serving in the Wisconsin National Guard from 1964-1970. He had worked in the floor covering industry for many years, holding positions with Kenny Brunette Furniture, Sears, Brunette Agency Wholesale Carpet and was an independent rep since 2008. Peter was secretary of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, member of the Resurrection Parish Council and maintained an active role in the parish by volunteering as an usher, serving, working many funeral luncheons and distributing communion at Aurora Hospital. Peter was also a member of the Fr. Claude Allouez Knights of Columbus Council and enjoyed many other volunteering endeavors and golfing. 

Survivors include his wife, Roberta; children: Eric (Pam) Brunette of Denver, CO and Nicole (Ed) Trofino of Louisville, CO; grandchildren: Paul Brunette, Mike Brunette, Tyson Trofino, and Owen Trofino; brothers and sisters: James Brunette of Milwaukee, Barbara (Henry) Katz of Manitowoc, Michael Brunette of Green Bay, Susan (Brad) Ryan of Madison, David Brunette of Oak Creek, Greg Brunette of Washington D.C.; brother-in-law, Brian Cundiff of Green Bay; as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Wade (Jeanie) Brunette of Seattle; sister, Mary Lou Cundiff of Green Bay; and a favorite sister-in-law, Marilyn Brunette of Green Bay. 

Family and friends may gather on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Resurrection Catholic Parish, 333 Hilltop Dr., Allouez for a visitation beginning at 10:00am until 11:45am, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12:00 noon, Fr. Tom Reynebeau officiating.
