Richard L. (Beyer) Hazaert, 84, Town of Glenmore passed away Friday, October 13th. The son of Eli and Cecilia Beyer, born May 9th, 1933, Dick married Alice Van Hulst on May 15th, 1954. Dick drove an ambulance/wrecker before starting his career as a dairy farmer in 1954 until his retirement. Dick was a member of the Denmark Historical Society, the Farm Bureau, and was a talented wood carver and furniture maker. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survivors include his wife Alice, children Linda (Louis) Traeger, Barb Dorner, Dan (Pam) Hazaert, Karen (Tom) Pozza, Dennis (Sue) Hazaert, Don Hazaert, Carol (Dave) Rogan and Kathy Mansbridge, 25 grandchildren, 24 great grand-children, one brother Leo Stein, sister-in-law Betty Hazaert, Evelyn (Bob) Rausch and brother-in-law Norb (Carol) Van Hulst, daughter-in-law Sandy (Mark) Zullner. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, son Richard Allen, son-in-law Adrian Mansbridge, brother Melvin, sister Joyce (Bill) Beaudry, sisters-in-law Maryann Stein, Florence (Wally) Morrison, and Bernice (Leon) Schnell. Special thanks to Sarah and Kathy of Unity Hospice for their care and concern. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Avenue, De Pere, from 9-11am on Tuesday, Oct 17th. Friends are then asked to meet at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 5832 Big Apple Rd, Glenmore for an 11:30am Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Kevin Ori officiating, Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
