Robert L. “Bob” Reis, age 87, died peacefully Wednesday morning, May 13, 2015. Bob was born September 4, 1927 to Jacob and Rose Reis. Bob spent most of his life in the greater Green Bay area. He married Theresa Mary McGoldrick, May 1, 1948 and she preceded him in death 19 years ago. Bob loved bowling in 2 leagues at a younger age, where he carried over a 200 average. He also loved playing golf with his friends. Avid card players Pete Safford and Bob founded a bridge club called the “Even Dozen.” Bob’s favorite past time over his entire life was playing the alto saxophone. When he was a teenager he started his own band called the “10 Teens.” They played every Friday night at the YMCA, and split .00 for their gig. Bob also played in the Jack Francis Band, the Packer Lumberjack Band, and finally “The Last of the Big Bands.” Bob also enjoyed working with future business owners in “Score” shortly after his retirement. In his career, Bob made his living in the retail clothing business. He worked at Baum’s Corner for his father-in-law, Patrick McGoldrick, and finished his working years with The White Stores in DePere for 22 years. Bob is survived by his children: Dennis Reis, Rob (Kae) Reis, Rick Reis, Tracy (Dennis) Seeman, Mary (Don) Cuskey; grandchildren: Diane (Alex) Boquist and Patrick Reis, Jessica (Dave) Denor and Jake (Kerry) Reis, Olivia and Katherine Reis, Nick (Annie) Seeman and Emily (Blake) Johnson, Alex and Stephanie Cuskey; eleven great-grandchildren: Annika Boquist, Max, Ally, Will and Sydney Reis, Matthew, Abbigail, Joe and Sam Denor, Cole and Finley Seeman, long-time companion, Norma LeSage and her family, as well as nieces, nephews and other family members. In addition to his wife, Theresa, his parents, Jake and Rose, Bob was preceded in death by two sisters Geraldine (George) Timm and Bette (Norb) Kelly. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere, on Friday, May 15, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:45pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St, De Pere, from 9:00am until 9:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday with the Rev. Judah Pigon, MF officiating. Entombment in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
