Roger Elmer Flegle

August 11, 1949 — March 31, 2017

Our beloved brother, Roger, is now at peace and free from pain joining his parents in Heaven. Roger was born August 11, 1949 to the late Adelle (Ratajcazk) and Elmer Flegle. He learned his work ethic from our parents and by working on Elaine and Augie Krueger’s farm from a young age. After graduating from Denmark High School in 1968 he started working at Brown County Publishing Company and then spent the rest of his work career installing Goss printing presses around the world. After retiring he became part owner of RJ’s Bar Grill which later became DR’s. A sometimes gruff exterior housed the most generous heart of gold which was proven over and over by the many people he helped throughout the years. Roger will be sadly missed by his siblings, Sharon (Larry) Guyette, Ron (D’Ann) Flegle and Lu Ann (Bill) Collins. Also surviving him are his nieces and nephews, Ken (Cathy) Guyette and family, Dan (Julie) Guyette and family, Michelle (Ben) Belongie and family, Chad (Lisa) Collins and family, Cindy (boyfriend – Dana) Collins, Dustin Flegle and Chris (Shannon) Vinson and family. Aunts, uncles, many friends including his four legged feline friend, Abby, also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adelle and Elmer Flegle, aunts, uncles and friends. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home-Denmark Chapel, 536 Cty Road R, on Wednesday, April 5, from 4-8pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 9:30am-10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at All Saints Catholic Church, Denmark, with the Rev. Kevin Ori officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken and Dan Guyette, Chad Collins, Joe Flegel, Bill Mathis, Lowell Hansen and John Duckett. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. A very sincere and special thank you to LuWaine Larsen for her dedicated care throughout the years, Bill Mathis for his friendship and help, Cousin Joe, who was like a brother and Unity Hospice.
