Roger M. Siegworth, 87, Allouez, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011. Roger was born March 11, 1924 in Sheboygan, the son of the late Alois and Susan Siegworth. Roger attended school in Sheboygan and graduated from North High School in 1942. He then graduated from UW-Madison and gained his Masters Degree from UW-Milwaukee. Roger served his country in the army during WWII with the 113th Gun Battalion. His service to his country took him to Belgium, France, Luxembourg, England, Germany, and North Africa. On November 4, 1950, Roger married Helen Gruenke at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Roger was employed by the State of Wisconsin for 37 years. He started with the State Employment Office in Sheboygan in 1950. In 1958, Roger became District Supervisor for the State Vocational Rehabilitation Division in Racine. In 1967, he transferred to the Green Bay office, and retired in 1987. Roger enjoyed traveling, golf, dancing, playing cards, fishing, bowling, going up north to the cottage, as well as their Florida vacations. Survivors include his wife, Helen; daughter, Susan (Richard) Laurent; sons, Mark (Jill Le Cloux) Siegworth, John (Linda) Siegworth; granddaughters, Haley and Hannah Siegworth, all of Green Bay; sister, Germaine Hiller, Grand Rapids, MI; sister-in-law; Germaine Gruenke, Sheboygan. Brother-in-law; Roman (Mary) Gruenke, Sheboygan. Roger was preceded in death by brothers-in-law; Melvin Hiller, Clarence Gruenke, and Joseph Gruenke Jr. Friends may call at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr., Allouez, from 9 a.m. until hour of mass on Friday, May 27, 2011. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at church with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
