Rose (Malewiski) Luedtke

Rose Luedtke, 95, Denmark, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011. She was born May 28, 1915 to the late Egnatius and Julia (Fruzen) Malewiski. She married Harold Luedtke, November 19, 1936, and he preceded her in death on November 28, 1975. They farmed most of their lives until moving to Denmark. They were members of Zion United Methodist Church in Denmark. Survivors include three sisters-in-law: Norma and Betty Malewiski and Elaine Tarrell; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by five brothers: Anton, Tom, Henry, Bernard and Leo Malewiski and one sister, Dorothy Leiterman; Willibroad and Ethel Brugge and Edward Luedtke. Friends may call Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church, 231 Chicago St., Denmark. Funeral Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday at church, with the Rev. Henry Yoap officiating. Burial will be in Lark Emmanuel Cemetery. Cotter Funeral Home, Denmark, is assisting the family.
