Rosemarie "Rose" Voegtline Warbritton

September 24, 1933 — April 12, 2014

Rosemarie Voegtline Warbritton, 80, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2014. She was born in Negaunee, Michigan to the late Raymond and Lucille (Bond) White. She was a graduate of Negaunee High School. With her first marriage, she moved to the Green Bay area and became a “big city girl”. Rose “Bud” greatest joy was raising her four sons. In 1971 she married Jack Warbritton. Rose was known for making wonderful UP Pasties and Pork Pies, a New Year’s Day tradition. Her other pastimes include knitting, Sci-Fi movies and was a master at wordfinds. She was an avid Packer fan. A longtime dog lover, she had many canine companions over the years. Rose is survived by her “boys”: Paul Voegtline, Green Bay; Dr. Michael Voegtline and his partner, Michelle Ngo, San Diego, CA; Rod (Valerie) Voegtline, De Pere; Wayne Voegtline, Redgranite, WI. She is also survived by her siblings: William (Peggy) White, Judy Jandron, Jean (Mike) Viall; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, William (Laverne) Warbritton, Raymond Watters; Uncle and Aunt, Butch and Betty Bond; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lucille White; her husband, Jack Warbritton; brother, William Bond; sister, Joyce Watters; brother-in-law, Dave Jandron. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 10am until 12 noon. A Celebration of Rose’s life will be held at 12 noon at the funeral home led by Deacon Don Ropson. Interment will be in Fort Howard Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.cotterfuneralhome.com. Rose’s family would like to especially thank neighbors, Helly and Jerry Soquet and Don and Mary Sevcik. She would not have been able to live in her home as long as she did if it were not for you. Also, thank you to the staff at Manor Care West, especially Stephanie and Marion for the care given.
