Sharon A. Kidney

January 12, 1951 — June 29, 2024

Green Bay, WI

God called Sharon Ann Kidney to her heavenly home on June 29, 2024. She was born in Green Bay on January 12, 1951, to the late Delner and Myrtle (Miller) Beaupre.

Sharon spent her childhood riding bike to the parks and pools in De Pere, and spent much time with her best friend, Dale. Kim was the love of her life. They were childhood sweethearts, having met at Irwin Grade School in De Pere, lived on the same street for many years and attended the same schools. Sharon often quipped that she hooked Kim for life, figuratively and literally. At age 16 she managed to entangle and actually hook her hand to Kim’s hand with the treble hooks of a fishing lure! We will spare you the details. They had to visit the De Pere Clinic while being hooked together. The doctor said he had removed many fishhooks, but that was his first case of removing hooks from two people at once. Their love story was one that would last a lifetime, and they would have celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary on July 28th.

After college, Sharon and Kim married on July 28, 1973. She accompanied Kim as his career took him to various parts of the country. Son Keith came along in 1975, followed by Matt in 1979. She was a stay-at-home mom during her boys’ early years. She later entered the workforce as an administrative assistant. The highlight of her career was as an executive assistant in the Office of the Secretary, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Washington, DC. Sharon also liked to shop as does her granddaughter Sierra, who blames her shopping habit on the gene she inherited from her "Nana." Sharon’s memory will be with all that she loved.

Sharon is survived by her husband Kim, son, Keith (Brietta), grandchildren; Wyatt (Becca), Hunter, Sierra and Gavin and great grandson Kash. She is further survived by brothers Ron (Pearl) and Larry (Jennifer), and other relatives and good friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, son, Matt and sister, Carolyn (Ken) Schwab.
