Sharon L. Waddell

December 29, 1946 — March 7, 2022

Sharon L. Waddell, age 75, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully March 7, 2022 at Patient Pines in Bellevue. The daughter of the late Bernard and Violet (Wren) Schroeder was born December 29, 1946 in Green Bay. She married Gary Waddell in February of 1966 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay, he preceded her in death. After graduating West High School, Sharon attained a degree in childcare. She owned and operated Shardell’s day care center in Green Bay. Sharon was a very creative person, had a great sense of humor and loved music. After she retired from the daycare, she and Gary were foster parents for several years. They then moved to Kelly Lake, where she worked at Woodlands of Gillett Assisted Living. Sharon will be remembered for her big heart, her love of people and the wonderful care she gave the kids.

Survivors include her siblings: Carol (Tom) Wright of Ft. Myers, FL; Gwen Kramer of Green Bay; Bernie (Deborah) Schroeder of Sauk City, WI; Terry (Mike) Motiff of Oregon, WI; nieces and nephews: Ron (Michelle) Wright and their children; Kim (Paul) Makurat and their sons; Christyn Schroeder (significant other Matt Montgomery and children); Emily (Steve) Udelhofen and their children; Rebecca Schroeder; Ben (Sarah) Motiff and their children, Patrick (Heather) Motiff and their children; cousins and extended family.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law: Moose Mull and David Kramer.

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Sunday, March 13, from 11:00am until the time of prayer service at 1:00pm with Fr. Santiago Turiano, Jr. officiating. Private entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to Toni and all her staff at Patient Pines, as well as the caregivers at AseraCare Hospice and the staff of the infusion center at OSMS.
