Stanley C. Crone, 63, Denmark, passed away at his home, Tuesday, April 06, 2010. He was born April 16, 1946 to Donald and Kitty (Matthews) Crone, in Madison. On September 10, 1977 Stan married his loving wife of 32 years, Marge Holsted. Stan loved life and helping people, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors where he would hunt and fish and attended French-Indian War Reenactments. Stan was an E.M.T. with the Denmark Viking and County Rescue Squads. He also volunteered at Denmark High School as a math tutor and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Green Bay for many years. Survivors include his wife, Marge; mother, Kitty Crone; daughters: Tammy (special friend, Jeff Whittemore) Crone and Chris (Bill) Kidd; 4 grandchildren: Nathan Crone, Cassie Carroll, Jena Carroll, and Brennan Crone; sister, Connie (Jeff) Nelson; father-in-law, Donald Holsted; sister-in-law, Gail (Bill) Kyser; brother-in-law, Steve (Kim) Holsted; and many other relatives and loved ones. Stan was preceded in death by his father, Donald Crone and his mother-in-law, Garnet Holsted. Family and friends may call Friday, April 9, 2010 at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, from 4p.m. until 7p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay from 9a.m. until the time of service. The funeral service will be celebrated Saturday at church at 11a.m., with the Rev. Michael D. Ahlemeyer. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery, Denmark.
