Suzi M. Kriescher

April 28, 1955 — November 8, 2012

Suzi M. Kriescher, 57, Green Bay, passed away November 8, 2012 after a most courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Green Bay on April 28, 1955 to the late Merlin and Phyllis (Zirbel) Lasee. On May 31, 1974 she married her longtime soul-mate, Floyd, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, De Pere. Some of her hobbies include sewing, quilting, cooking, and scrapbooking. She had a love of decorating and feeding the backyard squirrels. Suzi’s cherished jewels were her grandchildren that she could never spend enough time with. The love of Suzi’s life and complete devotion were her “boys”. From the many nights and miles she chased the boys around from here to there, to the neighborhood dinners which she provided to all that were around; Suzi did everything for her boys. Anyone that knew Suzi understood her passion for the holidays. From Grandma Suzi’s Easter egg hunts, the inflatable Halloween yard, to Christmas…where she could display her snowman collection and a Christmas tree for each grandchild. Suzi is survived by her loving husband Floyd; three sons, Jeremy (Bobbi) Kriescher, John (Heidi) Kriescher, and James (Amanda) Kriescher; nine grandchildren, Charlie, Grace, Lily, Ruth, Casandra, Noah, Adyen, Emmit, and Logan; nine brothers and sisters, Linda (Dan) Polomis, Larry (Caroline) Lasee, Paul (Bonnie) Lasee, Debbie (Dave) Johnson, Patti (Richard) Huppert, Steve (Ruth) Lasee, Tim (Mary) Lasee, Phillip (Michelle) Lasee, Mary (Paul) St. Thomas; her parents-in-law, Robert and LaVerne Kriescher; brothers and sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Peter) Reignier, Marion (Rick) VerCauteren, John (Kris) Kriescher, Kenneth (Mary Jo) Kriescher, Annette (Steve) Anderson; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson Gabrial; brother, Tom; and her parents. Family and friends may call Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cotter Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Celebration Church, 3475 Humboldt Rd., with Pastor Lathan Duncan officiating. Online condolences may be expressed to Suzi’s family at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. A special thank you to Green Bay Oncology, Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, especially Dr. Gautam and Aurora visiting nurses association for all their kindness and support. The family would also like to extend a thank you to Suzi’s family and friends at LaForce Hardware where she was employed for 15 years. The support the LaForce family provided Suzi and her family during her battle is unprecedented. Suzi is going to be sadly missed by three very close friends which were by her side and provided her with unbelievable strength and support—her neighbors: Dan and Deb Meyer and very close friend, Carol Boudreau.
