Timothy "Tim" McKenna

February 13, 1953 — February 4, 2025

De Pere

Timothy "Tim" McKenna, 71, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2025, in North Fort Myers, Florida. Born on February 13, 1953, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Tim was the beloved son of the late Robert and Virginia (Reuter) McKenna.

Tim cherished his family above all else and found immense joy in their company. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jeanne, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they raised a close-knit family that brought him endless pride and happiness. Tim’s legacy lives on through his children: Dan and his children Colin, Mar, Eric, Xavier, and their mother, Jeanne; Sarah and her husband Jim and their children Madeline, Carson, and Connor; Molly and her husband Troy and their children Arabella, Katherine, Isaac, and William; as well as Emmett and his wife Mishell. He is further survived by his siblings and their spouses: Mike and Jeanne McKenna, Mary and Jeff Meisinger, Kathy and Jim Lenihan, Maureen and Tom Reilly, Pat and Pam McKenna. Tim was also blessed with and cherished his many, many dear friends in Wisconsin, Montana, and Florida.

Tim had a deep appreciation for music that enriched his life and brought him great comfort. Whether listening to his endless musical catalogue or sharing them with loved ones by playing the piano or guitar, music was a constant source of joy for him. He lived a life of vast passions and interests, some were lifelong while others short lived: raising elk, buffalo, and horses, downhill skiing, SCUBA diving, sailing, mountain biking, and bird hunting.

In addition to his parents, Robert and Virginia, Tim was predeceased by his dear Aunt Jean. His memory will be forever cherished by those who knew him.

A memorial gathering to honor Tim’s life will be held on what would have been his 72nd birthday—February 13, 2025—from 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM with a memorial service at 7:00 pm at Cotter Funeral Home, located at 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, Wisconsin.

The family ask that, in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made in Tim's name to CP Center at 2801 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301.

May the memory of Timothy McKenna bring solace to all who loved him.
