Violet Viola Noth (nee Ashley), 91, of De Pere passed peacefully with her girls at her side on Friday, November 30, 2012. Violet was born on April 17, 1921 to the late Henry and Clara B. (Wigman) Ashley. Violet married Herman A. Noth in 1959. She worked as a maintenance engineer for the De Pere School System. She was an active member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Her activities included being a Girl Scout Leader for many years and being part of the “Happy Go Lucky” bowling league. Violet is survived by her children: Milton H. (Sharon) VerDoot, Havelock, NC, Donna Reid (significant other James Gates), Suamico, Amy (Robert) Otten, Green Bay; grandchildren, Rebecca A. Otten ( significant other Adam Harris), Green Bay, Kim VerDoot (fiancé Richard Henderson), Havelock, NC, Milton R. “Butch” (Lori) VerDoot, Harrison, AR, great-grandchildren; Jeffrey Williams, Matthew Williams, Kristen Williams, Robert VerDoot, Christopher VerDoot and a great-great grandchild, Faith Williams. In addition to her parents, Violet is preceded in death by her spouse Herman A. Noth; brothers: Edward, Albert, Ervin, and Lawrence Ashley; sisters; Mildred Schmidt, Florence VandeHei and Ethel Heim Family and friends may call Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N.
