He graduated from Preble High School in 1963 and soon after, on August 27, 1966, married Mary Ellen A. Hoffman, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He was a faithful member of All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark. In his downtime, Bill loved to engage in spirited games of sheepshead, travel and create lasting memories with his family. Bill faithfully cheered for the Packers, and had tickets dating back to games at City Stadium, and proudly attended the Ice Bowl in 1967.
